Well produced double cd. Standout for me is the bandcamp 20 minute wav bonus. I usually start with that track. Then set it on repeat. You're looking at about 2:25 hours of music. Put the entire album on repeat. It's pretty stellar. Variant has contributed a lot to the field - though consistently late w release dates. This was supposed to drop the day of the eclipse. When did it actually drop???About a month later. Come on man. We pay in advance on bandcamp. Directly supporting you. We do this to support you. We can purchase on eBay or somewhere else. Though we drop more money to support you. Is it really that hard to have a prompt release date. Especially on the eclipse???????We still love your work. Just press on time.

You're right, this was and is an absolutely stunning achievement for this project. I was forced to pay for the download copy as it was sold out by the time I caught it in my inbox. I found a copy on Ebay for a small fortune, so I guess the digital will have to do until I can find one for a reasonable price. I was also a bit let down by the release date changing but when I heard it, well, needless to say I forgot all about that mishap. If I wanted to buy releases that came out on time it wouldn't be from Echospace, I already know what I'm in for when purchasing. I can't recall a single release in their 10 years (outside of those on Modern Love) which came out on time, I guess that's part of their ethos.

@ xyzlene, I could not concur any more to your review: love the label but their sense of timing especially regarding release dates is approaching laughable. Still love the music tho...
