Notes
Over the last few years I've shifted the focus of my attention from my own writing to the music of the legendary bluesmen who inspired me to pick up the guitar when I was 17 years old. People like: Son House, Fred McDowell, Mississippi John Hurt, Bukka White, Charlie Patton and many others. This Journey has resulted in a series of CDs, starting with Tribute that featured the gospel sides of my blues influences, and now continues with Lone Wolf Blues, which joins country blues with gospel - two forms of early American music that have always walked hand-in-hand.
It has been my life's passion to carry on the country blues/gospel of the 1920's-1940's, and this CD celebrated some of my favorite artists from that golden era, as well as a few original numbers.
I hope you enjoy!
