I've had hard time with this. It's very punchy, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. What's worse is the stereotype this mix/album/whatever falls into pretty quickly. After this smash of beats ended, I couldn't remember much. Not that it was completely free of good moments, first half in particular kinda flew by - it was just not memorable in any way, giving me zero reasons to revisit this even once more.

I've heard bad things about this mix, and I really don't understand why people don't like it. First of all Pure Science is one of the few djs/producers that play ACTUAL tech-house. This CD is one of the few fabric CDs that reflects the dancefloor, which means the mix remains banging all the time (excluding the intro). It was done live, and it's funky and deep. It's too bad the tracks will never be found individually cos there are some of the best tech-house tracks i've heard.
