Notes
Recorded March 21, 1938, Los Angeles, CA.Brunswick Record Company recorded "Devil" and "Mose" on 3/21/38 and issued them as Brunswick 8155 shortly thereafter. CBS bought BRC in December of 1938 and re-issued "Devil" and "Mose" on their new flagship label, Columbia, as 36278, perhaps in late 1942 during the AFM's "Record Ban". This Columbia release bears the exact same matrix numbers as the previous Brunswick release.
"Ol' Man Mose" sold 170,000 copies at a time when 20,000 was considered to be a blockbuster for the apparent reason that Patricia drops the F-bomb in the song.
