I can't believe there has been no review of this release!Produced by AC Boutsen (aka Matthias Hoffmann) who's best know work is as Cygnus X with the tracks "Superstring" and "The Orange Theme" and the album "Hypermetrical". All fantastic examples of the early trance sound before the scene essentially died with the onset of commercial rubbish.Hoffmann was not the most prolific producer but this release really is of the highest quality-excellently produced melodic trance that flows from the speakers. The first two tracks are the best know as they appear on several other Eye Q compilations. It's defiantly worth tracking down Symmetry P mix if you can with it's eerie organ style synths. The final track "Sedona" is one of my favourite tunes of all time. It just builds and builds with a thumping beat, snorting acid lines and technoid sounds until it breaks into beautiful hypnotic trance and synths which will put a smile on anyone's face whether on the dance floor or home listening. This was one of the best traits of the early trance and techno sound-awesome on the dance floor but just as good at home as the production was usually so good, simple and logical (so German!)An essential release that everyone who enjoys uplifting electronic music sound have in their collection. Even after 20+ years it sounds fresh and futuristic to the ears. Thanks to everyone involved with Eye Q and Harthouse records for consistently releasing superior quality music-I only hope some of the producers from that time will read this and some of the other reviews here as they can be rightly proud of their work.
