Some further information gleaned from the October 20, 1979 issue of Billboard: This album was to be the final Super Groups in Concert for 1979 to be carried by 400 stations and aired November 10th at 8pm from appearances recorded in Boston and Los Angeles. ABC Radio Networks promised the show "will be the highlight of the series" and "It captures one of Americas best rock groups in its finest performances."
