REDONE lets the remixes loose on Wagon Christ's THROBBING POUCH. Vibert himself slows down the tempo for "Reedin (Redone)" -- at least until a new breaks rhythm pours out, punctuated with some vocal samples. The Aphex Twin roughs up "Spotlight" into an unrecognizable shape, reducing the original sample to a music box-like interlude, and rounding out the track with pure rhythmic madness. Boymerang and occasional Vibert collaborator Jeremy Simmonds bring some atmospheric breaks to "Pull My Strings" which brings the melody in and out, but concentrates on the beats. An interesting accompaniment.
