Originally intended to be released as 2 separate EPs, 888-01 and 888-02 were ultimately combined into a double 12" pack and released together. Labels name sides as 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2. Run out groove shows A and AA on both pieces of vinyl.

4 tracks from the great Insync here - feets firmly rooted in that 90's electronica sound. Having said that, 3 of them are pretty stripped in the beat department and have a real soundtrack feel to them, and quite a dark forboding soundtrack it is! the 4th cut 'Mirage' is pure techno heaven. a superb sound that while nodding to Detroit is so English in its sound. A really open feel to the melodies with lots of the trusty 909 doing its thing. A welcome return for one of the long lost pioneers of UK Techno. HIT THE FLOOR..

This double pack is the first thing Lee Purkis has put out in a while and its spot on, very similar to the old Insync Records sound in particular the Android Architect release. Wicked bass lines and intricate breaks and sounds make this a superb 12”.
