I have 550 out of 1000 grey marbled etc mine sounds damn good...maybe a bit bassy but find the comments about quality puzzling.

just to throw a different opinion in the mix - I just bought this album after hearing about it online and hearing encore (probably over 10 years ago!) - really surprised to see it in my local record store. It was the price of regular album, hand numbered, grabbed it. Looked it up on discogs and read the reviews below and got the feeling I just wasted my money. I listened to it very quietly last night and a little louder today, to me it sounds great! Really happy. I wonder if the people complaining are hoping to DJ with it, maybe then the sound quality is more noticeable - but its certainly listenable/enjoyable in my opinion and one of the few ways you can hear the entire project - thumbs up from me

Feel confident knowing that these Italian releases sound wonderful! While the volume is a little low for my taste, the clean bass and vocals more than make up for it. Don't doubt!

My copy is a dark grey/green with black streaks. No clue how many of each color were actually pressed, due to oversun and it being a bootleg, but a sticker on mine claims "limited edition of 100 copies". And yes it does sound very good.

It sounds awesome. Little low but clean bass and Jay sounds effing GREAT. Highly recommended.

I've got two copies of this limited edition vinyl I picked up in Liverpool in 2011, both hand-numbered out of 1,000 copies, marked not for distribution, and you can tell you've got a genuine copy if it's the worst quality vinyl you've ever listened to. Simply unplayable. The black/white vinyl looks great, as does the cover, but the audio quality is awful (played on a Rega RP6 with a Grado cartridge). Stick to the MP3 versions.

The pressing of my copy is great and sounds absolutly fine. Not sure what people are talking about here.

maaaan, I remember when I found the "original" CD in my than local record store, they had about 20 or 30 and I bought all of them for 5 bucks or so each. Sold them all over the world...good times :)

So, I was thinking the same thing about the SQ but it seems to vary from side to side and even song to song, side A has tons of sibilance and the beginning of B but then it gets significantly better, it's like outer groove distortion (is that a thing?), 99 Problems and Dirt Off Your Shoulder sound about as good as you could expect, source material considered. Some tracks seem to have the vocals tuned down too low, of course it's MP3 sourced and really just a novelty all around.

TERRIBLE audio quality. I thought Bootbox may have been exaggerating a little bit, but nope - it sounds like shit. Stay very far away.

This sounds like they played a 64kb/s mp3 over a walkie-talkie into a micro cassette voice recorder then played that back over the phone into an answering machine and pressed the vinyl from that. 0.05/10 - avoid at all costs.

The real version is all grey, the versions with the embarrassingly awful "art" of Jay Z and the Beatles is phoney.

There's no "genuine copy". It was a bootleg and passed around a lot. Capitol Records (the Beatles' label) gave Danger Mouse a "cease and desist" and that halted the release to go any further.

I found my copy in a record store in 2012 for about $25 USD, I guess not everyone got the memo :Palso, when I found this record in the Dangermouse section of my local shop I just about lost it, I went straight up to the counter, bought the record and went straight home, I didn't even bother looking for anything else that day
