Shakanos
The crystallization of MLWTTKK's "sexploitation" persona. The songs are as good as 1991's "Sexplosion!", except with 16 years of production, experience, and attitude behind them. Heavier in tone, if not in musical style; there's nothing like "After the Flesh" on this album. Instead, this album is about people burning out on love, deceit, drugs, cigarettes, sexual excess, and kinks. It's dark in a more realistic way than their previous albums. Listen to this on headphones for a really trippy experience, the production is flawless.

I agree with this review. I'd like to say that I'm not sure what is meant by "heavy" music, but to me this album packs a big musical punch. The overall experience left me with the unshakable feeling that someone schooled in classical composition had conceived the entire thing as a sort-of symphony. The album has so much swing and funk woven throughout that it stands as a landmark in the group's career for that reason alone, even if the production were not so perfectly on-point (which it is).
