Super tight four-piece Winnipeg (St. Boniface) band, pulling all the stops...top-notch playing by all. Combine that with the impressive direct-to-disc mastering (not a bad feat for a one-off lesser known band), a touch of subtle "taboo" laden humour here and there, and this makes for one heck of a kick-ass album. Imagine a crazy fusion of; Max Webster, The Imps, Alberto y Lost Trios Paranoias, Frank Zappa, Pat Travers, and The Tubes, and you're half-way there. Unfortunately, the LP's total run-time is only 22 minutes. Still, highly recommended. The album was released on the small 'Tube Records' label as a limited edition Direct-To-Disc Master. Tube Records was also the home to The Imps (Frank Soda's band) and released their debut LP as well.A portion of the back cover reads as follows;"IN THE INTERESTS OF QUALITY: Only a limited number of copies of this recording have been made. Virgin vinyl, special inner sleeve LOOSE poly seal, and meticulous attention to detail in the studio and at the pressing plant assure high quality. AND YOU GET CHANGE BACK FROM A TEN! (Plus tax if any).As in live stage performances, the musicians all played at the same time, doing one side at a time, straight through. No overdubs...no second chance. Live, gutsy rock 'n' roll...recorded with stunning clarity, power and dynamics that only direct-to-disc can deliver."
