Notes
Live 1973-02-25 Leicester"GENESIS Live" is the official live album of the era of Peter Gabriel. The masterpiece of that progressive rock is an appearance in the long edition which was recorded to "Supper's Ready" which is not in the regular board. Of course, it is not a thing to patch the sound source of other performances. The main source of this work was the test press LP produced by Netherlands official label "Dutch Philips". Originally, the official product version of "GENESIS LIVE" has been popular as a single thing, this test LP was produced in two-disc specifications for some reason, there was also engraved "Supper's Ready". Moreover, because there is a length of the analog four-sided, the song order is different, the famous song introduction "Supper's Ready Story" and the Cheers of Angkor waiting recorded. And the mix is different. In the first place, "GENESIS LIVE" was recorded for the radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour", not the original release. However, the charismatic record, which marked the live popularity at the time, was remixed to release the live album. It was originally a two-disc plan, but it was released as a one-piece thing to make it cheaper and more widely known. This test press was produced in this process. Even though the number of presses was not finalized, it is said that "20 to 50 sheets were made", but it is about ten pieces that have been transmitted to the present.
It is the "Genesis analogue of the highest quality", and it is a super-rare article that is traded at more than £1,690. This work was directly awakened from the test press of "Dutch Philips". It is clear that it is not a mere broadcasting source from the lack of a radio DJ, but the quality that speaks louder than that. Kenmoku is a beautiful sound, clear, mix and freshness are all perfect. Totally official quality...... I say, mania around the world is "more than the official edition Genesis Live" and Hallmark to press the sound. In fact, the "LIVE 1973-2007" version of the official box set was also high quality, but Nick Davis's remix was addictive and dislikes. However, this work is the sound of the same as it was 1973, and the natural sound from the analogue is the best match to Genesis's fantasy sounds, but there is no muffled feeling at all. In this work, we pay close attention so as not to impair the taste, and adjust the outline of the original to very obvious (naturally).
The best sound in existence is finished in the ultimate level. The historical masterpiece revived by the official sound of "official above" is the ideal of dazzling "Genesis World" of Gabriel era. Just following the "The Musical Box" from "Watcher of the Skies" to the concert street at that time was a big impression. So far, on the A-side of the test press board, the B-side is "Get ' em Out by Friday" only. Even though the process of switching the analog surface to the test press is sketchy, it is also evidence of history. Every song, every moment is heard, and it is overflowing with the real thrill of progressive rock. What is particularly moving is the Supper's Ready, which spans the entire C-plane for 26 and a half minutes. There is no official appearance for many years, and the box set "LIVE 1973- 2007" is not published for the reason of the mystery "even though there is a tape, the Rainbow Theater performance is Better" (included) shuts.
It's more than official sound to listen to....... The humorous narrative "Supper's Ready Story" is full of breasts, but at the end "...supper is ready" and the scene "waited!" The cheers of "is winding up. No, I really, really waited. This moment. In October 1972, the history of the masterpiece "Foxtrot" was questioned. Only four months have passed since then, "Supper's Ready", as innocent has changed to transience. On Banks ' keyboards, Hackett's guitars draw a fantasy world with a few small phrases, and Gabriel's singing voice rampantly in the sound stage. All the live music of the historic Great song, "Supper's Ready" of the "February 25, 1973 performance of Leicester" is spun by the sound more than official. In addition, the D-plane will be the 2LP last, "The Return Of the Giant hogweed (as in the official edition, this song is only February 24 Manchester performance)" and "The Knife".
In front of this "the Knife", the product version "GENESIS LIVE" has been recorded in the long cheers that has been cut. The best version of "GENESIS LIVE", the sound quality and length. This is a piece that tells you what it should be like in 1973.
