Loving this. As far as instrumental hip hop goes, this is right up there. I'm guessing Dexter has listened to a fair bit of Madlib, but at no time does this feel like a derivative copy of Otis Jackson Jr - Dexter manages to bring his own sense of freshness, soul and humour (care of Simon Pegg!). Clearly his love of jazz runs deep. Deserves to be better known.

Agreed. Small remark though, the voice sampled on tracks 8 and 9 is not of Pegg, but Julian Barratt (and Noel Fielding), taken from Mighty Bush. Admittedly very similar voices though.
