re: MagicCabinets: I don't see evidence of anyone referring to this as some sort of 'special color variant' of the standard issue, but merely an observation concerning the standard issue because there is a claim that a solid black [opaque] vinyl copy exists. In my experience, they've all been translucent brown. Call it 'lower quality black' if you want, but if someone claims that some copies are opaque black, then it is reasonable for it to be noted. I'd certainly like to see one.

re: themingowman: That may be true, but the question was directed at 'smokering5'. I've never encountered a solid black copy, and 'smokering5' may be mistaken as others have been.

Too many people (especially on here) refer to lower quality black vinyl as "translucent brown" as if it were some special colored variant. It's not - it's black!

Over the years, I've encountered nearly a dozen copies of this. All were translucent brown. Are you certain your copy is black? You see no light penetrating when you place the vinyl in front of a bright light source?
