While the consensus of the Court here at dicogs.com would have everyone believe that, aside from Jimmy Clanton, all of the other Artists listed are the same Artists as those performing the songs as in the movie. They are NOT. All of those Artists still remain unknown.Despite the resources used on-line to obtain the names, those Sources were, at best, taken out of context. If anyone should ever listen to the LP as I have, they would know that just by hearing the vocals. They are clearly other people. "Who?" is still anybody's guess. At first, given the simplicity of the information shown on the LP, I would have taken it to be a Bootleg issue. The lack of any songwriting or publishing credits clearly makes it look that way. There are also no ties shown to the labels where the Artists who performed them in the movie came from. But then, as I said, aside from Clanton these aren't the same performers as in the movie.I write this here only because I want those who may be interested in purchasing the LP down the road to have a clear understanding of what you are getting and what you would be paying for should you decide to take that route.
