Whose always the one at fault for not crediting the musicians? Billy Sherill, Epic or Sony Music Entertainment??

It's the label's fault, really. Back in the Seventies, sometimes they left the players out of the jacket, and other times they just lumped 'em all in under "Musicians", like on some records I have by Moe Bandy and R.C. Bannon (with then-wife Louise Mandrell; Bannon's solo album Arrives has them all listed under their roles). As far as I know, this mess stopped when the Eighties rolled around, with Mandrell-Bannon's Love Won't Let Us Go being the latest CBS release I have that doesn't properly credit the musicians.
