This album's style is comparable to Suicide Commando's early works like Construct Destruct, but what sets them apart is their extremely minimalist side, along with their very distinct vocal distortion. Groups like Dioxyde and Grendel seem to sound too much like SC, repetitive vocal samples (that is really annoying come to think of it)and similar detuned, distorted kicks, while larva can maintain similar synths and basslines without sounding too much like, well, anybody for that matter. An excellent album, DEFINITELY worth the 10 dollars(?), although I did not appreciate the last song (is it even by Larva?).
