Landamath
I was visiting Berlin Loveparade in summer 1999 and one of the after parties were located at Tempodrome (or something). The Party was called Wings of Love and it had two arenas. The first one was between these huge building blocks (the street was blocked form both ends) and the second one was a huge psychedelic tent. I remember seeing the poster somewhere around the city and spotted Kopfuss Resonator announced to play live. Later we got to the place and my friends were so enthusiastic about the mainstream acts on the big venue that I completely missed the psy-tent. I regret that more than anything, because this album proves the Kopfuss Resonator guys being extremely innovative and talented producers. This sounds sort of minimal psytechno with lots of drive. I think that any of these tracks played in todays minimal techno set would blow the roof off! All the tracks are full of weird effects, driving basslines and hypnotic soundscapes that create a completely original structure. They have their own sound that is easily recogniced and unique in sense of giving the minimal, yet energetic feel on the dance floor. My favourites are Redsprite, Kein Traum and Whipbird. Buy this if you can!
