A word about the 2 different versions of this LP:Catalog # Vanita 40136 is the other version of this album, I believe it came out after this but not 100% sure. After careful listening to both, I have deduced that the version of "Crashin'" sounds different to the one that appeared on the Mississippi "Velvet Sandpaper" LP - "VDFM" sounds the same. And I think the White Light jam was just book ended on this version instead of being just one track with some possible editing. 40136 seems a lot rarer. This version goes for the more 60s crooner styled tracks that Mississippi did earlier. Dr. Gary "Mississippi" Abrams was a psychologist out in California, private practice...and half of his 1973 solo "Velvet Sandpaper" album (later re-released by Tom un Ton as a White Light record with altered cover) featured the Perron Brothers (side 2). "Crashin'" and "VDFM" were both on the Velvet Sandpaper LP yet the version of "Crashin'" on 40136 of the White Light LP is double the length as on "Velvet Sandpaper" Hopefully that clears up some confusion!Tracklist for the other 40136 LP is such:Cold ShotVFDMCrashin'You'll Lose A Good ThingWhat Is ThisI'm Waiting For My ManAlways AlwaysI Couldn't Get HighWhite Light 1White Light 2
