A: Immensely enjoyable detroit techno with inspiring bass hook and signature strings. Thought this more of a curiosity when released at the time, that the vocal was a little Lo-Fi to crossover though had potential. Had already a copy of the original but as I recall thought this was a more insistent, immediate version that warranted a kind of repeat purchase. This original release is probably worth getting for the track Black Water alone, a piece of percussive techno in the vein of Daystar Rising. As mentioned above this is quite different from the track that caused all the fuss, the Ann Saunderson-vocalled 'Untold' mix.

If any of you mis-spent your summer in Ibiza this year, and recovered from your clubbing excesses on the beach at Ses Salines, in front of the Sa Trinxa bar, looking at the beautiful Italians, you will have heard this mesmerising track slowly taking over your consciousness as the sun went down. It's the one that goes "Just open your heart, open your mind, let your love go, let the sun shine..." over a hypnotic synth and some very cool string pads. It's not on any of the obvious compilations.
