Any buyer of music magazines (I speak mainly for the UK here) know that the give-away 'free' CDs are usually a poor effort of bands or tracks you don't like, or have never heard of. I've only had a few freebie CD's which are still in my collection and not sitting the box I like to call 'not part of my collection'.This freebie CD is one of those! It's a great sampler of British indie-folk bands and artistes. Some who are well known (i.e. Mumford & Sons) and those who are (or at time of release) we're just starting out like the wonderful Daughter and Kyla La Grange. I rarely enjoy 'label samplers', and buy them when they are cheap to find new artists... and for once I have found a plethora of great artists from this CD!Knowing that these magazine CDs end up being sent to Charity Shops in their droves, or fill up about 10% of all eBay auctions (including newspaper freebie CDs) - you'll be able to pick it up cheaply. So if you like British indie-folk, and want to find some new talent then buy this CD! It's worth it!
