All about the Phuture Doom remix for something completely different and offering a nice intro track. Other favourite is the DtD remix as usual delivering absolute quality.

I'll be honest: I was never a huge fan of the original track (blasphemy, I know), nor the first round of remixes on SUFR 36.Regardless, the point is, the C-Lib & Moss mix is acid techno insanity of the highest quality. Finally, I can enjoy this tune as much as other acid-heads have for over fifteen years now. I love the frenetic acid work, as it gives the track a gritty, serious sound, and comes back at just the right moments. And when the story culminates in "fifteen cans of Stella, and I stayed until Monday night," you know the acid hammer is about to drop. BOOM, what an incredible remix.

Same music as the main release, though. Sure, it looks nice, but for that much money, when it sounds identical to the main release? Yeah, right. And even if you did buy it, are you going to play that copy at a dusty, sweaty, and smokey party, where it's bound to pick up some surface noise and/or scratches? Not likely. And then what? You have it in your stacks---or at most, on your wall---just to look at? That's odd, if you ask me.Bottom line, my attitude as a DJ is that it's about the music emanating from the grooves, not the color of the record, the picture on the sleeve, or any autograph on the label. Sure, picture discs and colored vinyl look nice, but again, it's about the music! And anyway, selling SUF and Routemaster tunes at such high prices feels a bit odd. After all, they're underground, DIY outfits that stress the importance of free parties and despise corporate capitalism and the exploitation of "markets." So buying copies of their records (from the SUF website, for example)---or getting them free, directly from the Liberators or D.A.V.E., say---and then reselling them at elevated or even astronomical prices seems rather dubious.Enough, I've said my piece.
