Notes

c1968 Australian WRC pressing, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. Previously issued by the Record Society, a division of World Record Club, in 1963, with the unwieldy title of 'Brigg Fair / A Song Before Sunrise / Marche Caprice / On Hearing The First Cuckoo In Spring / Summer Night On The River / Sleigh Ride / Intermezzo From "Fennimore And Gerda" '. Here, it has a simpler title, and completely new artwork featuring the WRC logo. Curiously, some copies are printed on the Record society-style textured cardboard: the ones with a glossy finish date from the time of release, so the textured ones appear to be the later ones. WRC liked to use fine art for its covers, in full colour, for a period in the 1960s - here, it's Barbara Paterson's "Hot Dusk", from 1966.

Mono and stereo versions have same number on back of sleeve (S/6083) - the mono version has "6083" on the labels, while the stereo has "S-6083". The stereo version has a printed "stereo" rosette on the back, and the mono has a red sticker with "mono" placed over this (though these tend to drop off with age). The addresses on the rear of the sleeve have been updated.
