Wooden Purple Romeo
Hard to believe this came out 31 years ago. This reissue is great overall-- blows the doors off my beat up original copy. The sound is deep and rich, although disappointingly my copy has noise and pops on Side 2 in the quiet parts. Note this has the original Australia track list, which has "Mean To Me" as the opening song (as it should be). US pressings led with "World Where You Live" which is perhaps CH's second greatest song ever, but starting this off with anything other than Neil Finn singing "she came all the way from America..." is just wrong. It also swaps "I Walk Away" for "Can't Carry On" (the CD release had both songs... oh well).
