This is one of my favorite collections of songs ever, there's never a time I wouldn't listen to it because it's so engaging.

Whitescar
A fitting introduction to one of the weirdest groups that ever gained access to musical electronic equipment. This compilation spans the S-Head's first five years (1983-1988) and ranges from electro to crazy electronic noodling to house (?!). It's also done backwards so you get the house-sounding 'Greater Reward' from '88 first and the '83 electro track 'Dead Eyes Opened' last, rounding out the compilation. Most of the tracks are in 12" format, only available on this release--making it a great collectible item (unless you already have the vinyl). Standouts include the stuttering and highly danceable 'Twenty Deadly Diseases', and the pounding 'Hot With Fleas'. With electro/synthpop all the rage (again), this collection proves itself with each listen.
