This release contains the famous Philip Glass version and also the less renowned but very bold remix of Daniel Miller, label boss of Mute Records. Here, Miller takes us for nearly 14 minutes in a chaotic and experimental sound delicious. After a long 9 minuts introduction of repetitive and mental TR 707 drumbeats with vocoded voice litany, singing literally explodes accompanied of original acid sounds, before giving way to an abrupt conclusion of metallic sounds perpetually shifting. It's not really the kind of music made to create an atmosphere of listening passively, no, here, we are in the great psychedelic tradition, the pleasure comes with an active listening mind for fantastic auditory journey. I love that remix, its a must, a classic from the acid house era. Its packed up in a plastic bag available with this closing remix edition. The artwork is also amazing : 4 pictures of the band members taken from Superfly Guy's video shoots and this title video, reworked & disorted here in dark brown filters on white writings for a lovely result.
