This album was recorded at a leading studio in Nashville, Tennessee with Tommy Strong and Bill Porter alternating at the the control board. Instruments and mikes were picked up: (Left channel) piano (Altec 150) and Marimba (Neuman U-48). (Right channel) voices (Neuman M-49), violins (Neuman M-49 and U-48) and organ (EV 666). The following were split between left and right channels: drums (Tele KM56) bass fiddle (RCA-44), rhythm guitar (RCA-77), bass guitar (direct to console), trombone (Neuman U48) and Tom & Jerry’s guitars (Neuman U-48). The abum was cut in three sessions using Ampex 350-2 and 300-3 tape recorders at a speed of 15 inches per second.
