To coincide with Porcupine Tree's return to the Netherlands for a one-off gig at the Pinkpop Festival on May 30th 2008 Tonefloat issued a 180 gram pink vinyl edition of Fear of a Blank Planet.
The Pinkpop edition is limited to 500 copies only and was available through selected dutch retail stores from May 1 2008 to gain extra exposure for the band's appearance at the festival. A small amount were available for pre-order direct from Tonefloat.
