I have this pressing. Don't expose the label to any excessive moisture. Like many Nimbus discs pressed at this plant around this time, the disc is poorly manufactured. The label side has a terrible lacquer that will readily absorb any liquid - it will curdle then peel off the disc, taking the printed label information with it. On a humid day, you may even notice that the label is a bit sticky to the touch. Do NOT rinse this disc with water. If you do get it wet, don't apply any friction to the label - it will curdle, but let it dry on its own. There's a chance it will settle down and re-flatten by itself once all the moisture dries off. Regardless, the cheap lacquer doesn't do any favors for the reflective aluminum substrate. You may notice your disc will have a lot pinholes throughout the entire span of the disc. (Hold it up to a bright light to check.) A shame because this actually a great single, and essential to Pixies fans as the two SURFER ROSA tracks are actually new recordings - some (like Trouser Press) even argue that they're superior to the album versions. I say both versions are great, they're just different - these Gil Norton produced recordings are definitely suited for radio play, but they wouldn't have fit on the SURFER ROSA album as well.
