This raw black metal demo with some slight depressive note has been crafted quite well. No keyboards and no samples or noises disturb the dark atmosphere created by Min Kniv. With this demo the memories of the early days of the Norwegian scene are woken again and it can be seen as a good contrast to a lot that is being released currently. Well, the production could be better, a bass would also be nice and some more variation surely elevate the quality of the music, but its primitiveness and simplicity can nevertheless be enjoyed as the song-writing is on a good level. Fans of raw black metal will surely not be disappointed by this release.
