The 8:32 version of Menergy on this 12" is different than the version on most 12"/LP releases (that is 8:47). To me, it sounds like an earlier (demo?) version, not as powerful and polished. The lead vocals are female, not by Sylvester as on Patrick Cowley's Greatest Hits Dance Party

The A-side on this record has a slightly different remix of Menergy than came out on the (original) San Francisco Fusion Label and on the (rare) Megatone LP M-1001 (only 10.000 pieces where printed of the M-1001). This Black Scorpio 12 inch version from France has a shorter intro which sounds very powerfull. It is a nice record for those who collect records of the great late mr. Patrick Cowley and is absolutely a must have in your collection.
