It's hard to really give this enough praise without regurgitating what has already been said. Dream Soldiers and indeed Wonderlust are incredibly beautiful productions (as well as their respective B-sides). There are some big names here that show through and through (Most notably Thomas Dolby before he was really a success), but truly for me it is Trevor Herion whose spectacular vocals penetrate every note incredibly soulfully. It's also definitely worth checking out some of his solo work (especially Kiss Of No Return and Legends which is in my opinion a masterpiece from his album, Dreamtime), but for me it's with The Fallout Club that he struck the most intense chord. These are absolutely landmark pieces and it is a true shame that they didn't get the exposure that they deserve (as said by the below poster), but that can also be said for a lot of other great tracks by other great artists. It's absolutely tragic what befell Trevor Herion in the years after his solo work failed to gain any kind of traction. He will always stay an important fixture in New Wave music for me.There is also a great "update/remix" of Dream Soldiers on original member Paul Simon's label Stratotester Records. In some ways (I didn't say all), it is perhaps even an improvement on the original as hard as that seems.

A definite 5 out of 5. This is a truly enigmatic song that should have been a huge hit and should have been heard by millions not thousands. The sweeping mournful synths and slightly operatic vocals should put you on edge but in fact they blend very well. The follow up Wonderlust was also a cracker, this time combining trumpet with synths. Sadly I believe Trevor Herion is no longer with us. This is still one of my all time favourite tracks.
