Gaudiker
Notable for two mind-expanding songs: "Heavier Than Ether, Lighter Than Air" (watch the video on YouTube) and "Recondite Astral Traveler." The former has a pulsating, almost trip-hop sound; the latter is an oceanic voyage akin to early Verve, before they became The Verve. If you know the difference between Verve and THE Verve, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. I'm an atheist, but that song is a religious experience. Watching the few live versions of it on YT (especially the one under a slowly-rotting disco ball) makes every hair on my body stand on end. Oh, and I forgot "Perilized," their most aggressive song.
