Quphagie
This popular quebecois family musical group (Adrien, Aube-Alma (Obalma?),Gérald, Irène, Jeanne, René, Yvette Marineau & Fernand Pellerin) recorded this foot-stomping traditional folk Holiday gem late in 1969, just in time for the swinging Christmas (Noël) festivities in French Canada that year. While the Marleau clan basically stuck to their trademark up-tempo jigs & reels over the years, some members have been persistantly rumoured to have participated on the obscure 2-volume Tony Roman / Michel Pagliaro project "Les Reels Psychadeliques" (Freak Out Total) released the same year on Revolution/A1 ticket ......though this has never been officially confirmed.
