I got a second CD from Amazon today with the same errors. So It must be a general failure but the mp3 release (autorip @ amazon) is okay. For example track 6 is a pad-sound only but on CD it has a "beat" with clicks, cuts...

Superb and well-polished soundtrack that not only adds much to the movie but is really enjoyable on it's own for both the "song" and "score" sections.I'm no fan of either Kavinsky or Johnny Jewel, but I must admit their contributions completely surprised me and made me wonder if I had perhaps judged them too quickly in the past.The Cliff Martinez score is also top-notch and shows he is one of the greatest soundtrack composers alive today, since "Sex Lies And Videotape" and "Solaris" I'm always intrigued to hear what he will come up with.Having said that, the undoubted highlight of this album is the inclusion of Riz Ortolani Feat. Katyna Ranieri – "Oh My Love", this beautiful song sounds so contemporary, but in fact dates from 1971 in it's original appearance on the soundtrack for "Addio Zio Tom" ("Goodbye Uncle Tom").Pretty unusual that a song would reappear elsewhere after being written specifically for another movie, but it works.Perhaps the greatest thing about this soundtrack is that thanks to the success of "Drive" more people may realise the importance of music in film, rather than simply to complement the onscreen action or to parade a who's who of the current top 10 pop idols.In fact the only thing I could ask more of this album is a vinyl release, I hope it may still happen sometime in the future.
