Sonically more adventurous and sophisticated than their début; again Rodney is witty and conscientious delivering "Witness" Root Manuva's most enduring track, and one of the best tunes of the decade. The album is a great example of "British Hip-Hop", but for all the merits of Rodney's lyrics and the production, I just don't find most of the material enduring. That said, there are some decent good but not great tunes; other than "Witness", "Dreamy Days" the closer is the highlight.

An absolutely superb Hip Hop album by a true lyrical master, that stands up to any Hip Hop from the States. This is Hip Hop moving & grooving to it's full potential, full of inventiveness and meaningful lyrics than the usual bling & bitches tirade. Roots Manuva deserves a lot of respect as a fanatstic Hip Hop artist that put British Hip Hop on the map. Also one of the greatest Dance albums of the last 10 years. Respect.
