Notes
This CD gives August 17, 1950 as the recording date, though there were a number of broadcasts recorded of this group between August 17-23, 1950.
Stan Getz and Zoot Sims are listed on alto saxophone, but both play tenor saxophone.
The big band backing Sarah Vaughan is not identified, but may very well be Stan Getz's group.
Either Al Haig (Haig) or Bernie Leighton (Leighton) are listed for the Bird With Strings selections, though Tom Lord's Jazz Discography gives Billy Taylor as the pianist.
