I'm blown away by this album! Rick Cutler has always been a monster drummer. He's currently with Gator Nation, a popular Cajun zydeco band from northern California.

Thundershaper
This band includes Jerry McCann from the heavy psych band FRAMEWORK. According to the liner notes on their archival double LP on "ROCKADELIC" record label, they were originally named Anthrax (not Formerly Anthrax), but were asked by the label to change their name to avoid confusion with other acts of the same name. But they were able to incorporate their original name into the title of the album, hence: "Formerly Anthrax". The music is progressive rock, with a mild jazz flavor, while some others sound similar to early 70's Procol Harum.
