Cozius
Second single taken from Technotronic's album "Move It To The Rhythm". Nice melody, although there was nothing new in the concept at the time of release (it's total Eurodance). Ya Kid K on the vocals makes the radio mix sounds like a classic. Unfortunately, there is no extended version of the original (the longest mix is on the album). Those good things being said, the remixes on this single are totally useless. The On Stage Mix is a fake, live performance of the track with noise crowds. Small variation in the melody, which makes you "recall" the original, but that said, there is a big lack of depth in the sound. The Perplexer Mix is a very bad composite of re-used House samples (Todd Terry, Danny Tenaglia, LaTour, SoundFactory to name a few). The Crystal Jump mix (at least 150 BPM) is a hard house re-interpretation falling into a lot of the usual dance clichés while the Trancecore mix (with at least 170 BPM) is a bad, uninspired, dry rendition of the original.
