In my opinion, the original mix of this track was the best hardstyle track of 2006 by far. Even though I love hardstyle, it's not hard to acknowledge that the genre has a pretty simple (dare I say cheap?) sound to it; many tracks sound like they could easily be made in simple software like FL Studio or something similar. This track though is what I would call more sophisticated hardstyle, and it proves that hardstyle music can sound well-produced. Dana has used sounds and effects wisely, creating a hard-pounding and well-sounding track that I love. The acid-like sounds are also top-notch, and the track is very well-paced without any boring parts. The DJ Zany Remix unfortunately is flat as a pancake. It doesn't bring us anything new at all, and it doesn't have a real melody either (it throws away a promising melody in the build-up and replaces it with an annoying screetching sound!). Talk about two polar opposites on one vinyl. The remix doesn't remove the fact that I find the A-side to be my favorite hardstyle track of 2006.
