"Intrusions" is definitely my favourite piece on this album (which, I should add, is full of highlights). I think it perfectly encapsulates the collaboration: a haunting, stunning melody book-ended by harsh, sputtering bursts of static and other tones. Overall the record is nostalgic, gorgeous, and unsettling all at once -- highly recommended to anyone who likes either Hecker or Lapotin as individual artists, or fans of ambient/abstract music as a whole.

this is a strange musical birth from this collaboration,rough on the outside and soft and easy on the inside.the music takes you away to a far and strange beach of pebbles and hot sand on a sunny day!you have to try this out for yourself and maiby love it for a long time!

Agree. Very interesting collaboration. It's like total mess materialised in something beautiful on every track. And it's back to the mess again and again the nice melody come to the top. It's like the struggle of harsh drones and airy synths all the time. Very good ambient album, indeed.

Excellent collaboration between two of my favorite artists. Love this record, I can't stop listening to it. Intrusions is phenomenal.

i listen allready to a track via the "Software Records" and this is promissing,a warning this is the real Tim Hecker deal heavy and stronger than the early releases.this duo give your ears music-sounds for your money!it's waiting on the official release....and that is on november 20 2012!
