This is easily Thicke's most commercial album to date- but that's not necessarily a bad thing. After 2008's Something Else, (In my view, this album is Robin's Peak) Thicke began trying new things while working with new producers and writers, which led to 2009's Sex Therapy and 2011's Love After War, which are efforts that are win or lose. Which is why it is great that on this album, he decided to not stick with the slow songs, and went to the uptempo songs route- which makes it his most accessible, most amusing and most consistant outing since Something Else. It's the party album of the year, and 2013 was year where we got lots of great albums. Of course, not everything is perfect on this album: Give It 2 U, is quite frankly a shitty song, and should have been replaced with the song Pressure, that is only included in the deluxe edition of the album. However, I do recommend this album. Put it on a nice Summer day, and enjoy. Highlights: Ain't No Hat 4 That (5 star song alert) Get In My WayFeel Good (Great production) For The Rest Of My LifeTop Of The World (Great production) But the entire album is good. It is worth every penny. 4/5.

There is something obvious about this album: Robin Thicke is strongly influenced by Prince. In Blurred Lines he sings in a falsetto that sounds so much like Prince does. Every track of this album i think is really good. It does have ballads and powerful songs that obviously were pre-destinated to be singles.
