For his 40 years , Claus Larsen offers this double CD ' Retention No. 1' which is , in fact, the first volume of a new edition of all his back- catalog. The first CD offers a remastered version of 'The Pleasure Of Penetration ' published in 1990 , complete with 5 bonus tracks taken from Maxis ' Aspects Of Aggression ' and ' Japanese Bodies ' and a rarity, the ' Murder ' . The sound is powerful , clear and highlights all the little details that we could escape with the original edition. The music is electro / industrial , relatively dark and edgy . Rhythm are more speed in the last productions Leaether Strip. The song is aggressive and distorted without being incomprehensible as in many recent combos. A sound that would revolutionize and influence groups like Suicide Commando Wumpscut or later. And as Larsen never does things by half a second CD comes with 10 tracks of ' Pleasure Of Penetration ' re-recorded and reworked to bring a new dimension to classics like 'Japanese Bodies ', ' Die Die Die' or 'Go Fuck Your Ass Off . It would be a shame to miss this opportunity to discover or rediscover the early works of Claus Larsen !
