Symphony recorded in Walthamstow Assembly Hall on 27th August 1958Ebony Concerto recorded in the US
Reissue of the original The Record Society LP by World Record Club, as part of their "Music Of the 20th Century" series. Issued in a regular flipback sleeve with new artwork, but on the same Record Society labels. Issued again in May 1967 - pressing variations, if any, unknown. Mono and stereo versions have an identical sleeve with 6157 on the back and spine - the mono version has "6157" on pink & grey labels, while the stereo has "S-61577" on green and grey labels. There is a printed "stereo" rosette on the back, and the mono has a red sticker with "mono" placed over this (though these tend to drop off with age).
