For lovers of Choci/VCF-style hard trance/acid trance, "Slave" is simply heaven - this is pure "4 a.m. at Samsara" stuff, when everyone was rushing off their t*ts and yet there were still two more hours to go! Superb 303 work, superb production, and it's engineered by The Geezer - so why isn't this one "wanted" by about 5 times as many people, like some of those lesser tunes on certain other labels? Well, it beats me! Easily one of the best TEC releases, this one."The Unexpected" is excellent, but sounds slightly more dated than Side A, mainly due to certain synth sounds. Still a very good and quite uplifting hard trancer regardless.
