Love this release from Silver here. 'Soul Searcher' is a nice slab of soulful and funky drum and bass, not quite hitting full-on disco style, but hinting at it without ever getting cheesy. But for me, this release is all about the A-Side '1991'. Which is basically a 2003 remake of Dave Charlesworth's 'Energizer 1 (B-Side)'. Complete with the twisted hoover riff, oldskool, bleeping synths and an MC's requests for the crowd to make more noise. 'Wicked! Do you want one more? I wanna hear some more f**king noise than this!!!!' Fun track this one, and full of oldskool flavour too.
