So I bought this peace (this exact "skrewed-a-lot" version) thinking it was just a reissue of the original. I did not know what a "chopped and screwed" version is and I think this should be clearly stated here to avoid any confusion. Basically, google chopped & screwed verision to know what you're getting into. Its a messed with version, the music skips like the cd is scratched and the music itself is slowed down tempo vice so it sounds like a 45rpm record being played at 33rpm and there is nothing you can do about it. Later heard this was a style popularized by crack heads but I won't state that as an absolute truth. I guess its a bit interesting cultural vice with respects to aesthetics so buy it mostly for cultural purposes but understand that the cd you are buying is not how the album was originally intended to sound like. I was really pissed off at first when I listened to this but after a while I learned to appreciate the amended work as a whole. I still had to buy the original again to own that piece but now I am glad that I bought this version first (because I hardly think I would have had the initiative to buy it in the beginning). This proves as an interesting addition to the legacy of this album as long as you know what you are buying. Now its just time to wait for a proper lp vinyl reissue of the original.
