I love this album an INSANE amount. It makes me feel things I can not feel otherwise. It makes the general term of Viking Metal seem obsolete. This is so much more than just Viking Metal. This album takes you on a journey that you'd have an immense amount of trouble taking on your own. I want to refrain from using the word MYSTICAL, but I almost feel like I have to have my back to the corner here. With an album this perfect, there's rare a word more descriptive.Whether it be the trudging opening of Mot Helgrind, the catchiness of Fordom, the brilliant insanity of the piano keys of Veners Förfall or the beautifully haunting war chants of Relik - chances are, if you're looking for a great modern Viking Metal album with heart AND soul, this is BY FAR your best bet.Let's not forget the album itself looks beautiful in digipack CD format, and even if I weren't a dedicated fan, I would consider it a great honor to own! Even at a hefty price. DO NOT pass this up.
