If I remember correctly Steve (I think that's his name)was a customer at my shop ' The Record Basement' and one day he handed me a demo that he had produced with his partner (I feel embarrassed as I cannot for the life of me remember the other guys name)in their home studio. I loved the tunes but felt the production let them down, so I suggested that they go to Ron's studio and remake the tunes there. Ron as always brought the best out of the guys and produced two top rave tunes. Both tracks relied heavily on samples taken from some of the early U.S Techno/House releases that inspired us all, as always where Ron could he found the original sound and the guys were then able to write their own riffs rather than sample everything, but at the same time the guys brought there own particular style to the arrangement creating two little Rave gems.
