Don't be put off by the name or the early image cultivated by the band as some sort of satanic cult band. This effort, recorded in 1972, is a thoughtful and varied progressive outing. Sleighride is a 10+ minute showcase for the band but I See You, the final track, has a very pleasant and catchy 60's pop retro feel. Black Widow III leans in the progressive direction but Black Widow IV brings it all together. Worth exploring.
